How to Find Us
DIRECTIONS TO SWAN FOLK at SWAN IN THE RUSHES, LOUGHBOROUGH, LEICS.
Parking - The pub's car park is small and street parking can be difficult. We've discovered that there is ample parking just a 2 minute walk along the road on the retail park where KFC and Currys are situated. We understand that this is a pay and display car park with a charge of £1, but it's well lit and at least it's easy to park there. Avoid the Kwik Fit car park - one visitor was clamped and had to pay £85 to be released.
From Northbound M1
Exit motorway at Junction 23, turning right at the roundabout at the end of the slip road. This is the A512 towards Loughborough. Continue along this road.
Straight over 1st roundabout.
Straight over 2nd roundabout, towards Town Centre. (University on RHS at roundabout). Keep following this road until you see Sainsburys on your LHS.
Immediately after Sainsburys, turn left at traffic lights, into Greenclose Lane.
At T junction – turn left
Swan in the Rushes is on the LHS, immediately before the major traffic lights.
The car park is on the far side of the pub, nearest to the traffic lights.
From Southbound M1 (or Derby Direction)
Exit motorway at Junction 24 (not J24A!), taking the 2nd left turn at the roundabout at the end of the slip road. This is the A6 towards Loughborough.
Follow this road through the villages of Kegworth (beware speed cameras!) and Hathern.
Straight over roundabout, towards Town Centre.
Straight over major traffic lights (300 Spartans chip shop on RHS).
Straight over next major traffic lights (you will probably see the Swan in the Rushes pub on the RHS – but you cannot turn directly right into it!!)
Continue along road and take the MAJOR turn right (ignore any side roads!) – this should be signed A512/Motorway (Far Pavilions curry house is on RHS corner).
Continue up to traffic lights in RIGHT hand lane, and then turn RIGHT into Greenclose Lane (Sainsburys should be opposite you on this corner).
At T junction – turn left.

From Leicester: take A6 towards Loughborough and Derby.
Swan in The Rushes is on the far side of Loughborough, as you exit the Town Centre.
Look for Carillon Court and Far Pavilions curry house on LHS – the Swan in the Rushes is on the LHS just before the next major traffic lights.
Straight over next major traffic lights (you will probably see the Swan in the Rushes pub on the RHS – but you cannot turn directly right into it!!)
